This was a new entrance and auditorium renovation project for a church that was constructed over 100 years ago. The previous main entrance did not have a lobby, and it was inaccessible to the handicapped due to the long light of eight steps and a handicapped ramp that was much too steep to be usable. The auditorium had beautiful stained glass windows, but the seating platform and balcony were ineffective and dated. We stripped the auditorium back to the original structure and brought this part of the building up-to-date. We expanded the portico to provide lobby space and also reduced the number of steps to reach it down to three. only three.
